Afrinova Industrial Holdings is urgently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Health and Safety Officer for a project in Thabazimbi.
Minimum requirements
- SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer (CHSO)
- Minimum five years' Health and Safety experience
- Mining, petrochemical and/or construction experience
- Sound knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations
- Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, toolbox talks and incident investigations
- Experience with contractor compliance and Health and Safety documentation
- Good communication, reporting and computer skills
- Medically fit to work in a mining environment
Location and accommodation
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Thabazimbi or surrounding areas. Candidates from outside Limpopo may also apply. Accommodation will be provided where required; relocation and travelling expenses are for the candidate's own account.
